Anyone regret trading up
I currently have a 2006 Duramax Crew and am thinking about trading up for a new Duramax. I really like my current truck, but I feel it might be time to move on. Has anyone traded up and regretted it...

No kidding! Another consideration everytime I buy something in this state.
What's worse is when the state taxes you on something you already own just for the privlege of moving here!
Ouch. That is over 5 grand of taxes on a $50,000 truck. I love it when the manufacturer has a factory incentive (rebate) that lowers the price of the truck from the dealer but you still have to pay sales tax on money you never spent.
Oh well, at least you won't have to wait in traffic jams on I5 and I405 once light rail is finished..........LOL

Lol, the only good that stuff is for is my paycheck. I've constructed 2 of the aerial light rail segments and a couple "improvements " on the 405 and traffic s ucks worse now than before.
Seattle area is doomed. WSDOT has screwed the pooch many years ago and now can't dig out of the hole their in. Traffic will NOT get better in this area unless there's a huge economic collapse and half the people here move somewhere else.
Love the mountains and Sound. You can keep the rest of western WA. Bullchit taxes and all.....
