Might even consider a custom tune that boosts power from idle to 3500RPM then falls in line with stock output to redline. It's about usable power, not peak upper end output. No one tows at peak HP RPM's. If they do, it's not for long.
I know in the diesel tuning realm that increasing low rpm power is the hardest on components, so you might consider that.
I haven't looked one bit at drive-train on this application, I just know that low rpm torque is the hardest on hard parts.
At 2626 rpms every 1 hp makes 2 ft/lbs, and at 1313rpms every 1hp makes 4 ft/lbs, but at 5252 rpms 1hp makes 1 ft/lb.
Wasn't the ecoboost tested at near redline for an ungodly number of hours?
