Well, it isn't just an Ecoboost issue. I'd say that there are owners of just about every truck who do that. I know plenty of guys who bought a new Duramax or Cummins and went out and put a tuner on it the next day.
Impossible. No one tunes a diesel, especially the chosen one the Cummins. :)
