Anyone towing with an 2011+ ecoboost?
After searching the specs, I have realized the f150 have more payload capacity with the new ecoboost then the 5.0 engines. I was wondering for those that tow with it how the experience been? Any issue...

Yes, Purchased my 2013 in Dec. Has about 5500 miles on it now. Towed from NC to the Keys in Jan / Feb, about 1800 miles or so. No issues at all with the truck or with it towing. It is a CC 4x4 off road with 3,55 gears. Not the heavy duty towing / payload version.
I am only towing about 4000lbs TT, can't hardly tell it is there except gas mileage LOL. Was using a 2004 F150 4.6l before and it did ok. The Ecoboost has way more power off the line and otherwise. Have not towed in any big hills yet but I think it will do fine there also.
I drove the 5.0 and Ecoboost and that made up my mind. Both would do the job for me but ECo has much better low end power, if that is the correct terminology.
BTW there have been several topics concerning ECoboost recently, you may want to run a search and check them out.
