I had no issues with the height setting on my Bedsaver/16K Reese sliding hitch.
Great device for catching the pin.
The first Bedsaver I saw I actually saw it in action. Some idjit' pulled the jaws open on a guys hitch while parked at a road side factory outlet mall. As he pulled away next to me I heard the noise. The owner simply backed the truck up under the pin....closed the latch and went on down the road.
