Anyone use a stovetop without a range hood?
I just noticed our new camper doesn't have a range hood. Can't believed I missed that. We love to cook when camping and fry up bacon, fish etc. The range hood on our Lance wasn't all that powerful but...

I'm not sure how you still have the flap. The hinge pins don't last. Even with the tabs closed mine broke within 3 years of new as was only still there because of the locking tabs. Is yours a different style?
I've since added an internal lock to avoid the overnight tap-tap-tap with a bonus of holding it shut if I forget to lock the tabs for travel.
I use the awning pull rod to open/close the locks.
Camper was built in 07. I've had it since 2000. It's still there
Yours is a different style. Mine does not have that center bar. Even if your hinges broke, it couldn't fall out. Likely your hinges are much stronger too.
