Anyone use flex seal?

I just bought a Host camper and noticed it needs chaulk in a few places. I'm not familiar with newer campers and how they're built now and I noticed the chaulk used looks and has the feel of Great Stuff (foam filler). I contacted Host via email and was told they use flex seal. They didn't say where they get it. Anyone here use this and if so where did you find it? Thanks.

A Host camper is a camper made by Host Camper in Bend, OR
  • My neighbor tried it 2 years ago. As seen on tv. Whole front half of roof rotted out this year. Cost to much to repair and sold as is.

You won't find a professional using that. Just stop in at an rv dealer and find out what's good. They do repairs all the time.

This is exactly the problem. Using the stuff they use, you (or they) will be resealing it again and again. A good polyurethane or polyether caulk from a marine store will last a decade or more.
  • But wait,, thats gotta be some good stuff!! I seen them fire a cannon ball thru the bottom of a boat then go out on the water with it!! And its such a good deal,,They'll sell you two cans of it for the price of one!!

In all fairness, if it fell apart this year, it was rotten 2 years ago.
