Anyone used ocean-rated yacht hatches: replace the RV scrap?

I found more hatches that would address several issues mentioned by Posters: the flange depth; and a roller-screen:

This document also describes, in pain-staking detail, the removal of old hatch, and installation of new hatch (with bedding details, and interior ABS decoration flange). Available are medium and deep profile flanged escape hatches for thicker decking.

A Poster mentions insertion into rooftop with rubber roof (I would extend this to include all membrane roofs). Good question!
