Did you have any trouble with the rangers camping anywhere you wanted to. We had a couple of problems one time and were asked to move on by the rangers... The only Public camping spots were close to three lakes...
Fish Canyon was interesting - One dude with a big bus tried to go around your picture with the low rock over hang and crashed into it blocking the road for both directions. We was coming back on this trip and then camped out at the bottom of the fish canyon at a pull out close to where your bridge picture was taken. There was a bunch of cars pulled off there as well waiting for the road to open back. Since we had all kinds of camping facilities with out JEEP SETUPS we had a great time with the crowd there... It was a good 6-8 waiting for the road to open back up.
We all kept hollering up to the canyon to just push the bus off the ridge hehe... There was a few wrecks already piled up at the bottom of Fish Canyon.
Fun times back then on the APACHE TRAIL.
