I strongly disagree. A limited slip unit in a pickup without lockup hubs where the front spins all the time could be an absolute disaster on ice or snow--a very bad idea.
No newer Dodge or Ram HD pickup back to 2003 has any kind of "disconnect" in the front. The front spins all the time.
The newer RAM trucks do have a Center Axle Disconnect if that is what you are referring to.
