You will need ties and tiedowns and those are not cheap.
You will have to do some comparison once you get the combo set.
When I was buying 2017 F350 dually, I ask similar question and everybody was telling me about adding to suspension.
Turn out new truck has lighter bed, than older models and maybe beefed up suspension, maybe not, but it carries 6500lb camper just fine, although having 200LB of waste in rear tanks made big difference in propositioning.
Not too familiar with Chevy, but in worse case scenario you will have to add air bags.
I added hockey pucks to my upper overloads just in case and call it a day.
