In my opinion, the thermal (dual pane) windows are a MUST HAVE. Sure, it helps on the heat and cool, especially in extremes like the dead of winter and heat of summer. But, more importantly, there are condensation issues within any trailer. Just sleeping in an enclosed trailer will produce humidity (from your breath and body heat) and create condensation collecting and running down the inside of your windows... even when it's not freezing outside. It doesn't take long before water damage and mold begin.
In my opinion, you MUST HAVE thermal windows and the largest size furnace and A/C units available. Not only will your use be more enjoyable but these items will also make your unit sell first (in the event you decide to sell later). Frankly, you may not get that much more money because everything depreciates but the Buyer will be picking yours over others' because of these amenities. And, when you're ready to sell, holding it longer than you want is not what you want to do.
