As a retired house framer/builder, I can tell you there is a big difference between... say... a house with a crawl space and a free-standing trailer. There is the matter of natural humidity rising into the house that is not there in a trailer. Yes, there is condensation from breath and propane burning (stove, at least) in a trailer... but that's another subject.
What IS being used on houses these days are wraps (like Tyvek) but they "breath" out.
