I read that Ford has invested to build/partner it's own Chips. Can't imagine why it took this long. A major no no in manufacturing is not having redundancy for parts supply. Lack of Chips has crippled the entire auto industry and it took 2 years for them to start finding alternative sources or making them themselves? Bizarre.
