If you aren't going to use the genny that often, consider purchasing a Champion 2000 inverter on ebay. A dual stack with 4000 watts is about 1000. If you only need one for batteries and a tv once in a while, you can get a refurbished one for about 400 dollars. The company is supergen products. We have one of the refurb 2000 and if gets legs and walks way, it is 400 not 1000. We save our batteries with LED bulbs, using the stovetop percolator for coffee and enjoying the nature. If the weather is lousy, we will watch tv with the genny.
