We're going to Moraine Campground in Colorado next Summer where there is not electricity/water. I'm an outdoorsman, but my wife isn't, so I'm thinking about the Honda 2000i Generators x2 for this tri...

I know that TT come with many features, mine has AC and central heating, microwave etc. But the question was: “Are generators worth the $$?”
In my opinion they are not. But as I said, I have a very biased view of the subject.
Sure I would like to have the conveniences of home everywhere I go, but I find it easier and just as enjoyable, for me, to match my needs to environment. If a place has full hookups I use them. If it is just electric I fill my water tank, if there are no amenities I plan accordingly.
I realize that this is certainly not everyone’s cup of tea. But the fact remains that if a person wishes to power up, they will probably need a generator, gas, oil and maintenance. For me it is not worth the bother.
