I've experienced an issue with a slide wall floor separation even though I had been very careful not to step on or use the slide while retracted. It was a side wall and it was (had been) attached to the floor with staples... many, many staples. I think the culprit in my case was the heavy sofa while bouncing down a rough section of highway.
I went to Lowe's and bought 12 heavy duty rubber door stops and a rubber mallet. The soft rubber will not damage the floor as I use the mallet to gently tap them in, two on each end wall, and the rest spaced out along the leading edge. HOWEVER - One must remember to remove them when getting ready to extend the slide. I just attach a sticky note on the in/out switch to remind me.
