Are there any manufacturers who custom build Truck Campers?
Basically, I'm looking for the equivalent of Space Craft, who is willing to build one for the truck bed. Unfortunately, SC doesn't build truck campers...

- Build your own, check out totalcomposites.com the guy who started it used to build expedition vehicles for Unicat, the construction is better than anything you will find in a North american camper. He can point you to someone that could probably build the camper also.
- XPCampers are pretty nice. Kinda pricey.

Didn't get one. Maybe next time! - Northstar Campers is open to doing a lot of modifications in their builds. If they have a floor plan that comes close to what you're looking for give them a call. Great people to talk to and deal with.
- Do they make non-popup based campers? It doesn't appear to be the case, although opo-up ones do look interesting...
- Coyote RV, in Commerce City, Colorado, builds the Phoenix. Most, if not all, are custom.
- Four-wheel campers (pop-ups) in N. California bought Six-Pac (Hard-side) years ago, and had some custom design capabilities at that time.
FWC shut down Six-Pac for while, reportedly to re-tool. So, you might follow up with FWC and see where it is with that. They might work with you on it. The Six-pac website says they are not building at the moment, but you should ask the parent company at FWC as they own it still, I think. - Host might. Eagle cap used to, but since they became part of the Adventurer group they no longer custom build plus their customer service went down the drain. Most consider a custom build by ordering off the option list.

I'll check them out, thanks. :) - I think with your new 3/4 ton RAM truck you should have a hard look at Northern Lite. They are fiberglass construction like your Space Craft, and they have been in the business for years.
Personally, I would trust my money to a multiple made camper over years in the factory that a new and unique one of a kind unit.
There is limits to what you can do in a camper, and limits to what your rig can safely carry too. - Oh sorry, that's just a name of a company who builds completely custom 5th wheel or travel trailers. They can build based on the floor plan you want and materials you want.
Anything like that in the world of truck campers?
