What tends to happen is a manufacturer, brand, or model will become real popular. Dealers will begin ordereing the units due to demand from their customers and the manufacturer will have trouble keeping up with demand. In a rush to get as many units built as possible, quality slips. Bad reputation follows before the manufacturer is able to add enough qualified labor to keep up with demand.
Most manufacturers go through this and many have gone through it several times over the various product lines and models.
The really bad manufacturers end up out of business.
In the 15 years I have been reading several different RV forums no one manufacturer stands out as bad that is still in business today.
