I have the CIPA mirrors for my F150. One thing I really like is once you set them, you can actually remove and then put back on without having to reset. As I usually travel by myself, it is a real pain to set the mirror on the passenger side. With the CIPA the mirror itself can stay in place when you remove the entire assy.
+1. I love my slip on CIPAs. I also like that they still allow my mirrors to power fold. They are also easy to remove and install, taking probably one minute max. I do wipe down the mirror caps with quick detailer before installing them just to ensure no grit gets between the mirror cap and the slip on mirrors. I have painted caps and no scratches yet, though there are a few very slight scratches on the black plastic part of my OEM mirror that hides easily with a little 303 protectant.
