The same goes for car as well as truck salesmen, not to mention computer or cell phone salesmen. In fact, I do not ever recall a sales bloke or chick ever knowing more about what they are selling than I knew. And I am no genius -- just an everyday guy. The only difference seems to be that before I shop for something, I research it extensively. And it appears that before these sales folks start work, they do not do much research at all about whatever they are flogging on that day.
