Are they still making this vent cover?

This is my neighbor's vent. The trailer is from the 80's. I'm not finding anything that looks like it to replace it. So what now? :/

Probably not.... but hole is a standard size that a new different cover should fit.
Good luck and nice to see you helping her out!

She lost her husband a few years ago and is pushing 80. She's having the roof recoated next month by another neighbor. That will seal it up.

Bummer man. New cover and frame might be the best bet if a neighbor is redoing the roof. Nice of you guys to help her.

  • You guys at the beach or in a private backyard?
Another pic zoomed out might help.
The vents are screwed down into the plywood roof, and then covered with goo.
You will need to scrape away the sealant and expose the screws.
All while trying to be careful and not stab a hole into the roof material.
  • Replace the whole thing, not just the cover. It looks like it leaks like a sieve.
