Are you happy with your HP.

When I hit the first hill and the truck started slowing down I initially thought something was wrong. After totaling up the weight of everything in tow and considering how soft the muddy road was that I was on I realized, I'm a little short on power.

    Farmers...

They ought to see the stuff I pull down the road behind my farm tractors. If it has an SMV placard and flashing lights, all is good. Just because it's 12 or 14 feet wide means nothing.

...and I'm doing maximum road speed too.....22 mph in 24th on the high side.
  • Need the truck that pulls the space shuttle.
A 10k tractor plus a 100' boom bringing up the rear on a 6500 lb tandem dual axle GN trailer on a soft/muddy dirt road.....gotta' be a bitzh to back.
Size and weight folks wont give anyone a look with that load where he's doing it.
Now if he was running down the interstate at 75 mph........

Also, you have a probable "infraction" of the length laws! In short order... the "weight/ length police" will explain your transgressions!! :S

In Oregon, "implements of husbandry" are excempt from overall length laws. You are limited to three items behind your truck, so this guys would be good. That said.... Man you the insurance companies have started requiring pilot cars for moves like this.
