We're RV noobs, and rushing to get home + stupidity left us with a full black tank sitting in our driveway. For 3 weeks. In 90+ degree heat.
I was afraid to go in the camper. I was afraid to walk past the side with the vent stack. An RV guy I work with told me, "you're screwed. It will take MONTHS to get the smell out of there."
No smell at all. And I mean NONE. The camper still smells new inside.. even in the bathroom. From outside there's not the slightest hint that your'e standing 1' away from an outhouse.
Lesson learned: when everything's working, it really does work.
