Mothers Marine Grade Synthetic Wax. Says right on the label "easy to use." What more could you want? Did a bunch of checking around on waxes before settling on this one. There are many choices and many opinions on waxes for RVs. There's even forums on just waxes such as

You should use a gentle cleaner on it before waxing. Bought LAs Totally Awesome for this. Pretty inexpensive and was recommended on another RV forum.
Yes, right over the decals. If you haven't waxed it before, you might want to go around the entire exterior and ensure all decals are adhered to the fiberglass and press them down as needed. Not sure what you would do if it's an older unit and the adhesive has dried out.
