I appreciate your posts too. I like to see what's in there as I will have to work on ours sooner or later.
I have a few small de-laminated areas but don't plan on correcting them any time soon. It's sealed and dry. I'll probably redo the roof before the front cap.
Was all of yours dry when you opened it up?
It looks similar to a Palamino M-8801 I did a few years ago. It was wet which allowed me to scrap all the card board off the back of the front cap glass quite easily.
Had a bit of delam on each sides of the nose which was on plywood. It took more than a week just to get it dry. Then had to re-laminate.
Turned out to be a good learning experience.
