DITTO.
Northwood Manufacturing (makers of the AF and Nash) build their own frames, and they are heavier duty than frames other manufacturers use. There's a huge frame manufacturing company called LCI (Lippert Components) that builds frames for a lot of TT manufacturers, except Northwood.- stufarmerExplorerTwo models use the name Arctic Fox.
Both considered as good as any, Better than many
Entry, Arctic Fox
Premium, Arctic Fox Silver Fox. - n7bsnExplorer

They still seem to have less complaints than most. The frames are noticeably better
As the DW pointed out their employee "quality" program really helps.
I should point out that Outdoors RV also uses these frames. - n7bsnExplorer

Well, every model year we've owned or looked seriously at they have used Al-Ko axles, vrs the Dexter many (most?) use.
Why I like Al-Ko is you don't have to elevate the tire and spin it when you are lubbing the hub, while you do with the Drexter.
Now Nortwoods and Outdoors (same ownership) are not the only firms to use Al-Ko, but I will bet most firms use Dexter. - ImpkittiExplorerWe have owned two Northwoods (they make Nash & Arctic Fox)
We purchased the Nash used and were so impressed with it after using it for 8 or so years, that when we upgraded, we purchased the Fox and are on our 4th year with it.
No serious problems with either of them.
Northwood has a good employee incentive program. A sum of money is put into a fund for each rig out the door of the factory. Warranty repairs are paid for out of that fund. Any left over at the end of the year is disbursed to the employees as a bonus. - TequilaExplorerHad issue with sloppy plumbing, but i think that can probably be traced back to one employee, they were quite concerned when I told them about it. What you need to compare is the axle weight rating, and you will probably find that the Arctic Fox will use a higher rated axle on similar size trailers. Check the NCC when comparing trailers.
Examples:
Arctic Fox 25W: 3241 NCC
KZ Spree 263RKS: 1090 NCC - GENECOPExplorer IIWe have had the TT for about 5 years, they are pretty stout, heavy, and well insulated. I did have HOt water heater problems and discovered some pinched wires from shoddy workmanship...TV swing out mounting bracket was cheap, and had some TV sterio wiring problems...besides that it has been OK...spent 3 cold NY winters in it, no problem...
- Second_ChanceExplorer IIDon't/haven't owned one, but I've read many, many responses by people who do. I've never heard anything negative said about them other than that they are heavy - and that's a result of being well-built and insulated.
