The only way to know if your material contains asbestos is to fave a small piece set off to a lab (pricey) if you keep the material encapsulated there should be no issues..... as far as knowing whether a camper has asbestos or lead based paints is to have them tested but unless you tear into them for repairs should not be an issue formaldehyde (also cancer causing) is always another issue.
