Don't know that it was in your TT but always is best to be safe.... It is not totally banned today in any area that is a urban legend. You would be surprised how much is actually out there. You can easily buy it in building products without knowing...... in your favorite building products store. It is in buildings built today.........
I once thought as you did but found out quickly it is in new habitation areas built today...... as well as old building areas. (Just not as much). Ask any asbestos abatement contractor.
