That looks like you are on the right path. The only thing that I would do different would be to raise the lips on the sides a little more so if the trailer is not quite level you don't risk having the water flow over the lip and onto the floor. A replacement pan is easy to make if you have a break, or a quick job for a sheet metal or AC shop.
