Before replacing any parts or hot-wiring, make sure you have a good, fully charged camper battery, and that you DON'T have the battery disconnect switch in the OFF position. The remote control jacks are known to work funky when the battery is low, or defective, or the disconnect switch is off.
The jacks should work correctly with a fully charged camper battery, or from a fully charged camper battery plus shore power, but not from shore power alone.
Do the jacks work any different if you plug the camper in to shore power, or start the truck so the alternator is supplying power? If they do, that would point to a problem with the camper battery.
If you decide that parts are needed,
Gama Electronics makes all of that equipment for Atwood/Lance, and you can gets the parts cheaper from them.
Wireless Receiver Wireless TransmitterI see they also make a wired control module and hand-held remote, so you could probably convert your wireless system to wired if you wanted. I'd call them to discuss first, though.
