Atwood hot water heater
My atwood hot water heater isn't burning hot enough with the flame.It lights everytime I turn it on. I see soot rising from the chimney. No issue with the propane. Any help would be appreciated

Needs cleaning. Remove the outside cover and clean inside the burner tube. Spiders love the smell of propane. You should not be seeing soot.
