Ya, I can stand there for 5 minuets sometimes before the pilot will light on the WH if it hasn't been used in a while. Though mostly because my thumb gets tired from holding the knob in :) and have to stop and take a break. Lighting stove, due to more flow, helps purge the lines (only run burner for half a minuet or so) but the wh still takes a bit.
