Thanks for the post. It will be interesting to see the same data next year after the new GM Colorado/Canyon are in production for a while. I think they will do very well.

I was thinking the same. My son had a 2008 Colorado Z 71, he bought new and kept till April 2014. It spent a lot of time outside in -20 to -30 weather, always started.

In the approx. 80K miles he had it....only things to go wrong were a leaky hose (tightened clamp) and bad speaker. Very reliable.

The new 2015 Colorado looks real good, has the 2.9 liter DOHC 4, 3.6 DO V6 and a 2.8 liter, 4 cylinder optional diesel.

BTW, he traded the Colorado in on a new 2014 Jeep Patriot, 4WD Trail Rated package, which he also likes.

As an aside, believe his Colorado was made in New Orleans, the Jeep in Illinois.

August - a great month for trucks!

    But what happened to Ford?

I'd bet it's a slight slump because new models are coming out soon with significant changes. Just a guess though.

They are in a year long slump!

Ram is at the Burger King level. May very well be the new McDonald's soon. Does that mean they are growing to inferiority? :)

don't think so but still that was a good one!

I thought you would like that. Good run by Chrysler so far this year.

  • RAM is really making a run for it! All it takes is for someone to actually LOOK and test drive one.

Really see it on the Mobile Suites Forum. Many going from F350/450 or MDT's to RAM 3500 Dually's.
