Yes, the present Colorado and Canyon trucks are discontinued and are being replaced with a totally new mid-sized truck with higher load carrying capacities and a larger cab giving more passenger room. It's presently is not scheduled to be built in Shreveport, LA where the Colorado and Canyon were being built.
The next generation GM S-series truck will be built on an all new assembly line in Wentzville, MO.
