Auto Leveling on a TT??

Has anyone ever seen a TT that comes with it or has anyone added an auto leveling system to their TT? Has been offered on motorhomes for many years and over the past few years has found it's way onto 5er's and toy haulers as well. I don't see why not on TT's. For me it's not a lazy thing as much as it is something to save my marriage ;-)

I'm kidding! But we do stay at a lot of state parks and other places with very un-level sites and by the time we finally get it level my wife is ready to kill me. I can't stand a trailer not level!! Last year we were on a trip and had a very un-level site that made us build up leveling blocks 3-4 high. Took me 30 minutes of playing just to get it level. Was not a big deal with our old 19' hybrid but with a 33' TT it can be a real pain. I would gladly spend a few thousand extra on my next TT to just push a button and be done!

What are your thoughts!
  • Side-side jacks?
I assumed he meant some boards under the low side tires.
I just cut two length of 2x6 with a 45 degree bevel on the end.
I can see roughly how far out the trailer is in place, pull forward a couple feet, put the boards down and back the trailer up onto them.
1 board brings me up 1 1/2", if not enough add the second board.
Then the hitch jack for leveling front to back, and stabilizers to just beyond snug.
I have also used them to change a flat.
Pulled the good tire up on them, changed the flat, and drove away.
    Multi purpose.
  • As long as the 2 side-side jacks are placed in the middle of the trailer it should work.
  • side to side level.........some boards under low side
    front to rear.......tongue jack
    crank down front rear stabilizers

    DONE......15 mins.
  • Lippert makes a 4 point hydraulic leveling system for TT's. It is just like the 6 point on 5er's but with two less jacks. Could be retrofitted on a TT. Go to Lippert's web site and they list certified installers of the system.
  • My 5er has one and it is electric, I have not had any issues with it to date but the newer models have gone hyd.
  • Aftermarket HWH Leveling system for TT.
