Excellent point on the added weight on a 2500.
Personally I would not want to loose the space in my truck bed. I also don't think you will ever make up for the cost.
I have been full timing for 3 years now and I have never wished I had an auxiliary fuel tank.
If I ever decided to do something I would get a TransferFlow replacement tank.
