I have a 60 gallon RDS tank, gravity fed. As others have stated, this is a legal system.
I thought about doing the OEM replacement under bed tank, but I couldn't see spending that kind of $$$$ to only add 15 or so gallons.
The 60 gallon tank is great. It takes up the same amount of bed space as the 40, and costs about the same. For me, it isn't about saving $ when I fill up (although that often happens), it is about knowing I have 95 gallons or so of fuel to get me to and from just about anywhere I go. Heading round trip 1000 miles to the lake, good to go. Heading out for the weekend? I can go two trips without stopping for fuel. Then, when I do stop, I can do it at home, without anything in tow, and taking full advantage of the fuel savings we get from our grocery store.
I love my RDS. Well worth the cost for me. And it is nice to have a small tool box as well.
