I know you didn't ask about replacement tanks but when I got my new truck I thought long and hard about what I wanted to do. On my 2012 GMC 3500 with a standard (short) bed I had changed out the 36 gallon OEM tank for a 57 gallon Titan and it worked very well. I came very close to going with transfer tank of some kind this time for a bigger gain in capacity. When it came down to it I just didn't want to lose the bed space, which I need on occasion, so I got another Titan but with the long bed it is now a 60 gallon. It is only a 24 gallon gain over stock and probably not worth the money I spent but I found the tank on Amazon for a little over a thousand bucks, cheaper than anywhere else, but still a lot for 24 more gallons. The reality is that 60 gallons will get me 500 miles down the road with 10 or 12 gallons still in the tank. 500 miles is usually more than I want to do when we travel and it lets me find a better price for a fill up after we have stopped for the night. I like the Titan because it is made of the same plastic material as the OEM tank and thus is lighter than the metal Transfer Flow. I am 66 years old and did the install myself with just basic tools. It did take me about a half day but I took my time.
