What is so bad about fueling with RV in tow?
"I'm looking forward to never, ever having to fill up my truck with my TH in tow".
If you don't get it, you don't get it.
I'm in the neighborhood of 70' long when I tow tandem. My aux tank is also one of the best additions I have made to my truck.
Old thread! Still I say what's so bad about fueling with RV in tow? I have since been towing at around 68' overall and have no issues double towing. I stick to truck stops.
This is my "auxiliary" tank.
I was like you Cummims. Just carried 2 5 gal cans. Then I got fed up with plottig my travel fuel and food stops at truck stops. I put a 45gal RSD tank gravity feed system in. I have done 2-1200 mile trips to the mountains this spring so far.
It is nice running 5-600 miles before needing fuel and planning my rest and food stops in nice spots not truck stops.
