Auxiliary Diesel Tank Gravity Feed vs. Electronic pump

I just got a 40 gal in deb tank I plan to gravity flow. I hate for my truck to run below half a tank, which causes us to stop way too often. I should be able to travel a long time between stops which will save me time and make it more likely to get to the campground while it is still daylight, which is well worth it.
