You must have a hell of a bladder! A stop is a stop as far as I am concerned. No I don't care if I spend a few bucks more for a truck stop fill.
I do miss my 35 gallon tank, I know only 3 gallons less now but it makes a difference as I had specific stops along the West Coast. Used the 5 one time as I had not calculated in the long grade from the Columbia River to Yakima, WA.
Bottom line people need to do what works for them. I just think everyone should decide with real world experience before spending BIG $$$.
Do you even bother to read the responses? You know, the ones (multiple) in EVERY thread like this that talks about it isn't that you don't physically need to stop. What matters is that you can choose where you stop. Given the choice, I think most would decide to stop somewhere other than a fuel station.
So how exactly does your "solution" help? You are talking about carrying an additional 5 gallons of fuel. That you have to still stop and pour in. That gives maybe an additional 50 miles when towing. Versus the OP, who is talking about at least doubling the size of their tank. With no additional stops to pour in a five gallon tank.......:S
