re: BSFC data... I just tried to understand the Engineering speak... very challenging. So, take home : the amount of fuel consumed at any given Horsepower ??? plot it out, 3d diagrams give "islands" , and being on those "islands" is the target zone we should try to achieve for best return on our gas dollar at any given load ??? How can I use the data based on looking at my tach/speedometer and CAT scale weights hauling my 5ver ??? (I need the Cliff note version!).
Sorry, I have a hard time with sabermetrics in baseball ! The BSFC flies right over my head.
