Does your awning unhook from the side of the trailer? Most manual awnings do, and the arms become vertical supports you can stake to the ground.

We hang our wet towels on the side arms.

I remember my first beer! Just kidding! Need to hang same tacky ornaments on the arms. So tacky you can’t avoid seeing them every time you walk around them. :B

Couple more hard smacks in the head and you will probably learn where it is and not to run into it....:)
