My electric awning will not retract - motor just makes a clicking noise. Tried to roll in manually, no go. Just replaced the fabric & now this! Do I need a new motor & where do you buy one? Please don...

Did it ever work after replacing the fabric? I just replaced my fabric this AM and it is working better than before as the fabric alignment as originally installed was a bit out of alignment. Does your motor not run when connecting a battery directly to the motor? Google "Dometic power awning motor" for a selection of suppliers. Looks like around $300 if you have to replace the motor.
