  • I replaced everything through dyersonline.com and got a decent deal. I got free shipping because of the amount I spent, but in the end it was about $800 cheaper than paying a dealer or repair center to buy and replace everything. If you have any info, Dyers can make sure you get the right parts for your rig via online chat or a phone call. There are other good sites out there, but I had a great experience and it made things easy.
  • You should measure center to center on the bottom brackets.....
  • Yes everything is missing except the top rail the roller and fabric sit in and the 2 bottom leg brackets are there ad well so thats how I know it once had an awning..... so if im understanding correctly I measure the distance between the two bottom brackets right to find the size of awning
  • I do not think you have stated the question in a form that can be answered.
What is missing or broken? Is it the fabric?
The whole assembly seems to be gone from your description. Is this it?
If so a whole new awning is the best solution.
Shop price carefully there is a large mark up and great variance in prices for the exact same awning.

    A new awning? :S :R

Being a 2000 model trailer the original awning surely would have been a manual awning and also most likely either a Carefree of Colorado or a Dometic, so if you don't have any other parts that can be used to identify just what it may have been take a pic of those bottom brackets to your local RV dealer so he'll know what you're trying to replace. Awning size is determined by the measurement between the vertical awning supports, or in your case the distance between the lower brackets, measured to the nearest foot - i.e. if for example you measured 14' 10" it would be a 15' awning. If you're lucky the original would have been a Dometic and if so you could replace it with a Dometic 8500 manual awning, one of the best that's ever been made and continues to be offered. These awnings come in two parts - the hardware kit that includes the two vertical support arms and the brackets and the roller tube kit which already has the fabric mounted to it.
  • I needed some parts for my previous TT. I called the manufacture with model number and they were really helpful and walked me through everything I needed.
