Can't believe you people are so scared to use your awnings. We have camped at Myrtle beach for the last 16 years. Our awning goes out when we set up, and comes down when we pack up to come home. Often I carport it, which means I take the legs down, and put them on the ground, and I tie it down. We have only taken it down once while there, and that was while the hurricane passed by.
