Unless you buy a truck with 20" tires I would stay with the 3.31 ratio, I tow with an F-350 6.7L SRW with the truck maxed out on weight and truck rarely if ever will come out of 6th gear unless pulling a significant grade. Normal freeway grade changes such as overpasses are no problem and the truck will pull them in 6th gear.
