I have a 27ft Forest River Travel Trailer, less than 2000 miles on tires, only camp local and only had 14 months. The tires on the passenger side have tread worn on the outside edges only, drivers side is cupped........
We had a similar problem with a 28' Heartland NorthTrail. They're not installing heavy enough axles on these larger TTs and they bend, destroying the tires. But it saves THEM money and to hell with us. :M This is becoming better known only lately. HL refused to accept any responsibility but the axle co they buy from replaced the bent axles with HEAVIER duty ones. Better suited for the weight of the TT. We were stuck for the cost of replacing the 4 tires with less than 3,000 miles on them. We will never again buy a Heartland RV nor recommend them to anyone. Both dealers we knew stopped selling them. Gee, I wonder why.
