I liked the Ram better even aside from the injection pump when I shopped them last year. Much stiffer chassis, better ride/handling and nicer interior. Ultimately the Cummins was the main reason I opted for the Ram, though. It's just a simpler and more robust design with fewer moving parts and a more reliable CP3 injection pump.
One area where the Ford is definitely better is the towing mirrors. They're easier to adjust and offer better viability.
Juist don't wack one off, as I understand that around $2,000 to replace.
